ha ha ha-hilarious...

see, country bunnies.
don't be intimidated by the "glitz and glam" of the NYC club. trust me, most of them ain't all that great.

"Today, the Times confirms that the people who decide who gets in to the city's "hottest" nightlife establishments — based on how they look and only how they look — don't want you to look fashionable. "
THREE WORDS...
no. shit. sherlock.
they want you to look like a slut, honey. and then they make you stand outside in line in that outfit?!?! to get "chosen"?!?!
the horror!

it ain't called 'jersey shore' for nothing.
i just wish they'd stop migrating north.

there's still time!
GET THERE. NOW.
running until august 7th, the collection is an amazing homage to a visionary designer...i was at once shocked, awed, and saddened that such an amazing talent had to leave us so soon.
you are truly missed, mr. mcqueen. but thank you so much for the incredible inspiration!
i leave new york today with a newfound excitement and the creative juices (gross!) are flowing...

police are not treating the death as suspicious.
REALLY!?!?!
either this guy has really bad timing, or someone better step up and start asking questions...
silenced much...?

and now, for my next trick...

what do you do to make your 10 p.m. couture show in paris stand out from the others?
first, you have it at 10 p.m. when everyone expects to already be out partying.
not enough of a gimmick for you?
ok, fine.
have all of the models' boots light up at the end!
that is exactly what karl lagerfeld did at his paris couture show...as he made his way out for the finale, everyone's feet lit up.
can you say jimmy choo, 3 seasons ago, katy perry grammy awards?!?!
anywho...the 40's inspired clothes were glamorous and heavenly.

poor little thing...

chord overstreet, who played sam on 'glee' in season 2, will not be returning to the show as a series regular in the upcoming season.
guest stars darren criss (blaine) and harry shum jr.(mike) will be promoted to regular cast members.
as is the way of the world now, he took to his twitter to share the sad news...
"Well its been a good yr too bad its over, time for summer and starting fresh."
at least now he can get rid of that stupid just beiber haircut.
and he's got the look. maybe they'll do a reboot of "mannequin" or some other no-need-to-recycle, so-bad-its-good 80's cult classic he can star in and then he won't give two shits about getting kicked off of glee.
besides, they are going to give them all the boot at the end of next season anyway.
can you say...
glee university! premiering 2012 on fox!

song of the day....

if this one doesn't get to you, you have no soul!
david gray is a REMARKABLE musician, and we were lucky enough to catch his incredible live performance last night in chucktown.
i'll admit it, i teared up during this one.
yes bunnies, evil little me!
he put on such a magical show, it made up for the massive amount of douche bags in the audience!!!
(go away douche bags. we don't want you.)
listen to this, and then give someone good in your life a much-deserved squeeze.
love is in the air!

love this look!
eva mendes turned it UP at the salvatore ferragamo resort collection in NYC.
love love LOVE the color block dress, the nude heels, the chunky jewelry, the clutch...the whole sha-bang!
;)

(image via people stylewatch.)

are you ready for this?!?!

from KMOV in missouri --

"A Florissant man is fighting a ticket he got for giving the middle finger to another driver in Ballwin.
According to KMOX Radio, the man said that he gave the finger to a driver who blocked an intersection when he had a green light.
The man is fighting the ticket based on a similar case in Pittsburgh. That ticket was thrown out as a violation of free speech."

*now THIS is the best part of the story...

"In Ballwin, drivers are allowed to extend a hand or arm from a window for signaling purposes, and the driver says that is exactly what he did."
;)
seriously, bunnies. the man blocking the intersection, an actual MOVING VIOLATION, did not get a ticket. but because the cop is such a moral guy (i'm sure!), he gave the ticket to the guy who was practicing his freedom of speech.
now here's a little advice to everyone...because so many people pack heat now, i do not shoot anyone the bird. EVER. i just give them the thumbs up sign!
