i can't believe i'm going to say this, but...

i feel sorry for these fools.

spencer pratt and heidi montag are in their mid-20's, their "careers" (if you can call it that) are dried up, and they are broke living in his parents' beach house in santa barbara.

i guess they are lucky he has rich parents with a beach house.

seriously...how many of us can say that if we were 19, on a hit mtv show, living on our own in L.A., being paid to get our picture taken, and on the cover of every tabloid in town, that it wouldn't go to our heads? they got caught up in the trap of the "good life"...not so good, it turns out. now heidi is 25, full of plastic fantastic that she regrets, cut off from her family, and having to do a cheesy reality show on vh1 where she gets to hang out with the likes of the castoff fruitcake from real housewives of NJ.

such a sad existence.

now don't get me wrong...they made their own tragedy.

but it's easy to thrown stones when no one is taking your picture and offering you a reality show!
