holy ratings, batman!

there's been a ton of debate about seth macfarlane's performance at last night's oscars (boob song, anyone?!?!) 

but there's one thing for sure...
he brought the ratings!
the broadcast was viewed by 40.3 MILLION people...up a million from last year.
