a 30-pound rhodesian ridgeback puppy named byrdie delayed several flights at nyc's laguardia airport yesterday after she escaped her crate. the 14-month old pup spent about 10 minutes bounding around the busy runway, while airport authorities unsuccessfully tried to wrangle her.
finally, byrdie's owner had to be taken off of her flight to memphis so she could corral the lanky pup. she, of course, ran right to her mama.
i can imagine all the nasty people bitching about the delay. slow down, bunnies. this is what makes life hilarious. and ridiculous!
