legendary hairstylist vidal sassoon has died.
he was 84.
he was a pioneer in his field, creating his signature geometric bob cut in the 1960's and famously chopping off mia farrow's hair for the film "rosemary's baby".
he was one of the first to create his own line of hair care products, sold by proctor & gamble.
if you haven't seen it, the 2010 documentary "vidal sassoon:the movie" chronicles his life and 70 year career.
