the american music awards happened last night in L.A.

same old, i-need-the-most-attention-because-i-wasn't-loved-enough-as-a-child antics.
*lady gaga arriving on a "horse"? check.
*miley sings "wrecking ball" with a virtual cat in space? check.
*katy perry potentially offends japanese people with her performance of "unconditionally"? check.
ok, ladies. i'm sure all of your album sales with have a nice little push this week.
were we surprised by any of this? not really.
what we were surprised about? the girls giving some seriously fabulous carpet!

katy perry was absolutely dreamy in her polka dot and floral oscar de la renta.
don't know about the helmet hair, but that dress is FLAWLESS.

but...
damn. that hair is AMAZING.
somebody get her hair stylist on the phone STAT!
and then there was lady gaga doing her best donatella impression (in versace, of course) with that man powered horse.
