and the golden globe goes to...

oh, what a night.
while we are a little late to the game today thanks to technical difficulties, it is time to get through all of the good, the bad, and the WTF?!?! from last night's golden globes.
but first, let's take a time out to pay homage to the night's big wieners!

"12 years a slave" took home the trophy for best picture, drama, while "american hustle" nabbed the prize for best picture, musical or comedy.

(now i didn't really think it was a musical or a comedy, but what do i know.)

all in all, it was a pretty well-rounded evening, with most of the nominated films taking home at least one prize.
