*spoleto's 34th season is winding down with only 3 days of events remaining, leading up to the finale sunday evening at middleton place. there are still a few tickets available for events, for more info, click here.

*THURSDAY, JUNE 16th...we're kicking off my birthday week at the 3rd annual piggly wiggly big chef/littlechef competition at lowndes grove plantation. all proceeds benefit Louie’s Kids programs to fight childhood obesity. a great event for a great cause...

*SATURDAY, JUNE 18th...the birthday train rolls on at the coleman point village art & music festival. 411 coleman boulevard. the square onion too, earthly artifacts, and awendaw green bring you an afternoon of live music, local art and plenty of food and beverages to keep you cool (and i've heard there will be some rosita jones nail color floating around for sale)...

2pm to 8pm. admission is $10, benefitting daisy's place retriever rescue and the southern women animal task force.
