cute kid alert!

you know i have mixed feelings about old rachel zoe.
but dang...that kid is a CUTEY PIE!

rachel and skyler were photographed getting low to the ground at a toy store, and i have to admit...i'm loving mommy and skyler's sassy head wear.
work those platforms, honey!

what we're listening to...

this song totally reminds us of the good old days...old school john hughes, anyone?

drum roll please...

our favorites of the night...
jennifer garner, GORGEOUS in gold!

i don't know who her trainer is, but give that biyatch a RAISE!
that oscar de la renta is to die for...and her hair and makeup were FLAWLESS.

and...marion cotillard. dreamy in dior.
the hair, the shoes. the jewels. simple and elegant. and you know if it has pockets, i'm in.
ooh la la!

(image via ny mag.)

sheer heaven...and HELL!!!

how sheer can go so right...and so WRONG!
nicole kidman rocked a sheer vivienne westwood sunday night on the SAG awards red carpet. and even though she had a bad keratin treatment and her face doesn't move, she looked amazing in that dress!
and then poor little anne hathaway showed up. in that thing. in that extremely expensive giambattista valli THING. and then i had a rachel weisz polka dot/louis vuitton/golden globes flashback, and had to sit for a moment and compose myself.
NO! fire your stylist!

(images via huffington post.)

can you say...

S&M formalwear?!?!

julie bowen rocked that black leather johanna johnson sunday night at the SAG awards!

i am obsessed with leather dresses right now, so of course i love that she took the chance with this one...
and can you say hello high beams?!?!
42 years old, y'all. FORTY-TWO! looking good babay!

(image via huffington post.)

Monday, January 28, 2013

where is that dress taking that girl?!?!

poor little amanda seyfried!
she looked absolutely STUNNING in her navy zac posen, but the dress was so heavy she could barely walk in it!

she even had a handler that seemed to be holding her up at times.
when she did stop to pose, she looked amazing.
love this!

(image via huffington post.)

cute couples alert!

there were some really cute couples at the SAG awards last night...
i love me some jon hamm and jennifer westfeldt!! they just do what they do and don't seem to give a shit what anyone else thinks. gots to love NY actors! ;)
the other cute couple of the night? 'argo' nominee ben affleck brought wife jennifer garner, who looked incredible in gold oscar de la renta!!!
don't you just love it when all the cute rich people hang out together?!? oh look at our cute little friends isla fischer and sasha baron cohen...

(images via huffington post, access hollywood.)

what happened?!?!

and in other news...
two of my favorites from the golden globes, claire danes and julianne moore, looked TERRIBLE last night at the SAG awards.
what in the world happened?!?!
'homeland' nominee claire danes looked flawless in red versace at the golden globes...and then showed up last night with the worst makeup of the night!!!

and her ill-fitting givenchy was giving her back fat...and she's skin and bones!!!

meanwhile...i LOVED 'game change' nominee julianne moore's black and white tom ford at the globes...and then she shows up in this flowery chanel fart bag?!?!?

the top could have gone at any second!
oy vey.
come on best BRING IT at the oscars!!!

(images via huffington post.)

most improved...

thank you thank you thank you!!
these 2 beautiful girls made up for their golden globes dresses...and then some!

'silver linings playbook' winner jennifer lawrence was gorgeous in her strapless navy christian dior, while 'zero dark thirty' nominee jessica chastain looked absolutely fabulous in red alexander mcqueen.

love. love. love.

(images via ny mag.)

let's do this!!!

god i love me some red carpet season, y'all!
the good, the bad, and of course, more dresses that look like CURTAINS!!!
and the award for the best curtain at last night's shin-dig goes to...

seriously...i honestly do not even want to know how much signore valentino is charging for that hot floral mess rosie was rocking last night.
be careful...if you don't eat something soon, you might float away with all those ruffles!

we're posting our favorites and out not-so-favorites...stay tuned!

(image via ny mag.)

congrats, y'all!!

the screen actors guild awards were held last night...

ok, that's enough. i know what y'all want. best and worst dressed...coming up next!!!!
congrats to all the on to the oscars!

the looks are priceless!
enjoy ~

(first) lady in red...

first lady michelle obama wow'ed in red jason wu last night at the commander-in-chief's ball following the president's inauguration...

this was the second time the first lady chose wu, who designed the cream one shouldered dress she wore to the 2009 inauguration ball.

if you're in need of a little inspiration, then this one's for you!

happy birthday, babay!!!

happy happy happy day to first lady michelle obama, who turns 49 today.

that broad looks GOOD!
the FLOTUS sported some new fabulous bangs (and a fitted red zac posen dress) in a picture posted to her twitter account today in honor of her big day... may agree or disagree with her husband's politics, but you can't deny that is a beautiful lady.
loving the new 'do!

(image via yahoo.)

i'm so confused...

um...this is the strangest story i have heard in a while...

just what the hell is going on with notre dame quarterback manti t'eo?!?!
he has a girlfriend, she dies of leukemia the same day as his grandmother...but now she's fake?
what in the world?!?!
making it even more strange, t'eo's father says he met the girl, in stanford back in 2009. but both t'eo and notre dame athletics director jack swarbrick say he had never actually met the girl in person, and was the victim of an elaborate online hoax.
and now arizona fullback reagan mauia is saying that he has actually MET the girl who was supposed to be t'eo's online girlfriend, who is not dead and lives in samoa.
or does she? this is some weird business, y'all.
oh wait now, honey. there's more...
t'eo made comments about his dead girlfriend at a press conference supposedly two days AFTER he was informed that this woman, whoever she is, was not actually dead.
my head hurts...

for the rest of the story, click here.

what we're listening to...

so...we're running the half marathon this weekend.
(don't i ever got myself into this is beyond me!)
putting together the super run music mix, and this song, as much as ke$ha makes me want to hurl sometimes, has a great freaking beat.
enjoy ~

(unlike rachel weisz's sheer disaster, this miu miu looked so the hair, the shoes, the clutch!)

is it a tablecloth??
