to the boys from rush, who were finally inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame thursday night at the nokia theatre in LA.
dave grohl inducted the band, who were also the first musicians to win a fan vote in. 
drummer Neil Peart said, "We've been saying for a long time, years, that this wasn't a big deal. Turns out, it kind of is."
other inductees included heart, randy newman, public enemy, and donna summer.
the ceremony will air may 18th on HBO.
