sandra bullock and george clooney arrived at the press conference for their new film "gravity" by boat wednesday at the venice film festival.
bullock wore an alex perry pastel dress and guiseppe zanotti nude heels.

yikes...

poor ben affleck.

five minutes ago, it seemed he was once again the darling of hollywood with "argo".

then thursday, warner bros. announced that he will be the next batman.

and all hell broke loose.

turns out, a LOT of people don't think he can pull it off.

since the announcement thursday, more than 20,000 people have signed a petition on change.org asking the movie studio to recast the role.

the film, also starring henry cavill as superman, is slated for release in 2015.

what do you think? can ben affleck fill the infamous codpiece?
