newcomer lindsey gort has landed the coveted role of young samantha on "the carrie diaries".
she was spotted filming with anna sophia robb (aka carrie) in NYC over the weekend.
the duo are filming scenes for the 2nd season of the series, which returns friday, october 25th at 8 p.m. on the cw.
